 pillowPOINTS Terms and Conditions

To help pillowPOINTSTM members fully understand the pillowPOINTS program's special services, benefits and awards, the following Terms and Conditions have been prepared as a reference. Unless stated otherwise, these Terms and Conditions will apply to all pillowPOINTS members regardless of type personal or corporate or level of membership, Silver, Gold or Platinum.

These provisions set out below will govern the participation in the pillowPOINTS program and it is the member's responsibility to read and understand all of the terms and conditions. pillowPOINTS may change the program rules, conditions, benefits, or awards pertaining to the program at any time without notice.

pillowPOINTS points are void where prohibited by law, and are subject to applicable government regulations. These Terms and Conditions are governed by and in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

 General Conditions
  1. pillowPOINTS may elect to modify the membership rules and benefits from time to time with or without prior notice. These changes may alter the value of pillowPOINTS that have already been accumulated.
  2. pillowPOINTS will not be held liable to Members on any of the changes made to the pillowPOINTS program.
  3. The email address or member number that is used to login to the pillowPOINTS system becomes a unique identifier for the pillowPOINTS member and can not be used for another pillowPOINTS member.
  4. pillowPOINTS members can not earn pillowPOINTS from the redeemed portion of the confirmed booking.
  5. Members are responsible to review the pillowPOINTS website from time to time for any changes to the Terms and Conditions of pillowPOINTS Membership Program. Continual use of the program by the Member will be regarded as acceptance of the current Terms and Conditions.
  6. Members are responsible for keeping their Member Profile details up to date at all times. Correspondence sent to Members will be deemed delivered if posted or emailed to information as recorded in the “My Profile” section of pillowPOINTS. pillowPOINTS will not be held responsible for any communication to the member.
  7. pillowPOINTS reserves the right to interpret, apply and communicate the rules, terms and conditions within the Pillow pillowPOINTS communication. All such terminations by pillowPOINTS shall be final and conclusive in each case.
  8. pillowPOINTS reserves the right to terminate the program, at any time or any part of the program, at any time with or without notice.
  9. Individuals are only eligible to have one pillowPOINTS account. Unless the individual is also part of a Corporate Membership where the member needs to take responsibility for ensuring the correct email address is correctly updated in the profile on the member. All bookings that are made under the corporate membership email address will have the accrued pillowPOINTS provide under the corporate membership. If the individual member is travelling at their own leisure, they need to ensure a different email address is used.
  10. The pillowPOINTS corporate membership allows for a company to have multiple pillowPOINTS members under the grouping of a corporation, club or society, where by the accrued pillowPOINTS are all accumulated under the one master membership. The users of the corporate membership may only make redemption bookings on one of the partner sites, providing the person who is using the service is on the list as a member of the corporate membership or individual member of pillowPOINTS.
 Membership
  1. pillowPOINTS membership is free
  2. Membership in pillowPOINTS is not transferable.
  3. Membership in pillowPOINTS is open to any individual or corporation.
  4. pillowPOINTS reserves the right to reject any application.
  5. Membership commences once the member has accepted the Terms and Conditions
  6. Members may leave the pillowPOINTS program at any time by submitting written notification to priority@pillowpoints.com at which point any pillowPOINTS in the current or pending account will be forfeited.
  7. The pillowPOINTS member card is valid for 5 years and remains the property of pillowPOINTS
  8. Member must provide an email address that is in the member profile each time the member wants to make a booking, to earn pillowPOINTS. If the member does not provide an email address that is in the current profile of the member, the member will not be entitled to pillowPOINTS for that booking.
  9. pillowPOINTS reserves the right to terminate any Member from further participation in pillowPOINTS Membership Program at any time without giving any notice or reason. All pillowPOINTS in both Current and Pending account will be forfeited. The Member will be notified of this within 5 (five) business days.
  10. pillowPOINTS earned can not be exchanged or redeemed for cash.
 Program Benefits
  1. pillowPOINTS - SILVER is provided to all new members of the program where the points only need to be from zero to 49,999. The Silver member will receive the following benefits, which can be changed without notice from time to time.
    • Receives 1,000 bonus points on initial entry into Silver status.
    • Monthly statement emailed
    • Promotional Bonuses
    • Monthly exclusive PillowPOINTS deals emailed
    • Anniversary Bonus
    • Free travel assistance from our travel specialists 1300 738 000 or email priority@pillowpoints.com
  2. pillowPOINTS - GOLD is provided to members who have achieved from 50,000 to 99,999 pillowPOINTS. The Gold member will received the following benefits, which can be changed without notice from time to time.
    • Receives 5,000 bonus points on initial entry into Gold status.
    • Receive a Gold member card to replace the existing Silver card.
    • Monthly statement emailed
    • Birthday Bonus
    • Promotional Bonuses
    • Monthly exclusive pillowPOINTS deals emailed
    • Anniversary Bonus

  3. pillowPOINTS - PLATINUM is provided to members who have achieved from 100,000 plus pillowPOINTS. The Platinum member will received the following benefits, which can be changed without notice from time to time.
    • Receives 10,000 bonus points on initial entry into Platinum status.
    • Receive a Platinum member card to replace the existing Gold card.
    • Monthly statement emailed
    • Birthday Bonus
    • Promotional Bonuses
    • Monthly exclusive pillowPOINTS deals emailed
    • Anniversary Bonus

 Earning pillowPOINTS

pillowPOINTS are the base units of measurement in the program. A percentage of the gross booking value depending on which website the booking was made and which product was booked will determine how many pillowPOINTS will be earned.

  1. All Members shall have a personal Member Account which will be credited with all the pillowPOINTS earned to the members Current Account.
  2. Members are required to use an email address that is in the member profile at time of reservation to ensure that the pillowPOINTS they earn are correctly credited to their Pending account.
  3. Requests for missing pillowPOINTS will only be considered if Members have identified themselves as pillowPOINTS Members when making a reservation.
  4. pillowPOINTS can only be used as soon as the members current account is greater than 5,000 pillowPOINTS. The Member can start using their pillowPOINTS to pay for all or part of their future bookings.
  5. Each time a booking is made, the amount of pillowPOINTS the Member has earned for that booking appears in the Pending Account Balance. The Pending Account provides the total estimated amount of pillowPOINTS the Member has earned. The pillowPOINTS amount for each booking when confirmed paid in full and 14 days after the check-out date of that booking, after which the amount is transferred into the Current Account Balance and can be redeemed. subject to point 4 above
 Expired pillowPOINTS
  1. If a Member Account is inactive for a 24 month period, the accrued pillowPOINTS in the Pending and Current Accounts will expire, resulting in the pillowPOINTS being put to a zero amount.
  2. A Member Account is considered inactive if no booking activity is made through the Member Account during the 24 month period. The 24 month period always starts from the travel date.
 Membership Cards
  1. All new members to the pillowPOINTS program are issued with Silver membership card.
  2. The Membership card is valid for 5 years, then a new card will be issued.
  3. The pillowPOINTS membership card remains the property of pillowPOINTS
  4. Members will be awarded new membership status Gold or Platinum once point thresholds are achieved as determined by pillowPOINTS.
